Marketing consent
You control optional communication.
Agreeing to marketing is not a condition for entering WIBC or receiving the BHC. Understand which WIBC messages are essential and which choices are voluntary.

This Marketing Consent Policy explains how The SME Mall (the “Organiser”) communicates with you about the Women in Business Competition (WIBC) and related programmes.
1. Marketing communications
With your consent, we may send you:
- Competition updates and announcements.
- Programme news and event invitations.
- Educational resources and business opportunities.
- Information about future WIBC programmes and initiatives.
- Surveys and feedback requests.
- Promotional content from WIBC and, where applicable, selected programme partners.
2. How we obtain your consent
By selecting the marketing consent option during registration or through your account settings, you agree to receive marketing communications from WIBC.
Your decision to receive marketing communications is voluntary and does not affect your eligibility to participate in the competition.
- Required — I agree to receive messages about my WIBC registration, BHC and application.
- Optional — I would like to receive SME Mall business opportunities, events and resources.
- Optional — Send me an invitation to join The SME Mall WhatsApp community.
- Optional — Send my BHC information and payment link to WhatsApp.
3. Publicity
If you are shortlisted, selected as a finalist or become a winner, you agree that the Organiser may use your name, business name, photographs, videos, interviews and competition-related content for promotional, educational and publicity purposes relating to WIBC, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
4. Withdrawing consent
You may withdraw your marketing consent at any time by:
- Clicking the “Unsubscribe” link in our emails.
- Updating your communication preferences in your account, where available.
- Contacting us at wibg@thesmemall.com.
5. Effect of withdrawal
Withdrawal of consent will not affect service-related communications, including application updates, competition notices, payment confirmations or other essential information relating to your participation.
6. Changes to this policy
We may update this Marketing Consent Policy from time to time. Any changes will be published on this page with a revised effective date.
